  • §01How is this different from Lattice or 15Five?

    Lattice and 15Five ask your team to fill out surveys and roll the answers up to HR. Sonar reads metadata you're already producing (timestamps, PR events, calendar shape) and writes a brief just for you. Different product, different audience, different posture. You can run both — Sonar is the morning-of, who-needs-a-conversation-today layer; Lattice is the quarterly review layer.

  • §02What if my team finds out — will they hate this?

    Each person on your team gets the same view you do at /me, with four buttons that work without a support ticket: pause, export, delete, push back. They see what was collected, which signals fired about them, and they can opt out per-source. We built /your-data as the page you can send your team before installing.

  • §03What if the brief is wrong about someone?

    It will be, sometimes. Sonar shows patterns, not verdicts. Every signal links to the underlying activity (the actual PR, the calendar event, the message timestamps) so you can verify before you act. If it's wrong, dismiss it — your dismissals tune the model for your team. The conversation is still yours.

  • §04What counts as a seat?

    It depends on your tier. On Manager: each direct report you manage — the people whose signals Sonar covers. On Executive: each manager you oversee, not their full teams. A VP with 4 EMs each leading 8 engineers pays 4 seats, not 36. The manager account itself is always covered by the base fee.

  • §05What if my team grows mid-month?

    Add the new person to Sonar and billing adjusts automatically, prorated to the day they were added. Same in reverse when someone leaves.

  • §06Can I start free and upgrade later?

    Yes. The free tier covers up to 4 team members with no credit card. Upgrade to Manager or Executive when you're ready — your data carries over.

  • §07Do you offer annual contracts or enterprise pricing?
